Last night I presented to the School Committee the ECDC School Improvement Plan (SIP). The School Improvement plan is developed directly from the District Improvement Plan, but it provides a more specific agenda of items and initiatives that will be happening here at ECDC over this school year.
I presented last night, along with the principals from the 6 Franklin Elementary Schools, and it is truly an honor to work closely with such creative and inspiring leaders. It is also wonderful to see how so much of what we do here at ECDC is truly aligned with the elementary schools, while honoring the developmental needs of our little learners. The SIP challenges each school to look at our potential for growth through the lens of each of 4 strategic objectives: Social Emotional Learning, Academic Achievement, Building a Collaborative Culture to Improve Student Outcomes and Improving Two-Way Communication.
If you are interested in learning more about ECDC and our SIP, then please consider joining me for a conversation about all things ECDC at the first Coffee and Conversation with the Principal on October 13th @ 9:30 am.
