ECDC starts blogging!
I am excited to announce that ECDC has started blogging! For us, our blogs are our personal webpages.
Just last Friday, during our staff professional development day, our ECDC professional staff learned how to set up a blog and share information. I have to admit that blogging is new to all of us, but together we recognize the value of sharing information, resources and even pictures of what we are learning in school. Our goal is that our blogs serve as a window into your child’s classroom and into our ECDC community. I have my own blog, www.ecdcprincipalpage.blogspot.com and so do each of our classrooms. In addition, our specialist teams and our team chair also have their own blogs. Even the PCC will have a similar blog soon!
Each of our blogs will have a space where you can sign up to be notified by email when changes are made, such as a new blog post, the addition of an article, or classroom photos.
At the beginning of the school year each family completed a photo/video release which will encompass this blog, if at this point you feel differently about your decision, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher. If not, we will continue to respect your wishes as indicated in the fall.
We do appreciate your feedback, and encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas with us, but I ask that you also be patient with us as we all learn the ins and outs of this new form of communication, “blogging.” Each teacher, specialist and administrator is working at their own pace in learning this new technology, so it may take a while for these blogs to be fully utilized by our team. Thank you for your continued support!
